May Hill Massacre
The May Hill Massacre is a cross-country trail event held on 30 and 31 January 2027 at Leaf Creative, Huntley, Gloucestershire, GL19 3EX. The course features sustained climbs up May Hill, very muddy trails, open plain at the summit and notable countryside scenery. Early entries are open and places are limited.
Distances:
- Approximately 7–9 miles main cross-country route
- Approximately 14–15 miles May Hill Mayhem with an extra loop
A canicross race is included as a separate category. For safety there is a cutoff of one hour to reach the water station (about 4 miles); participants outside that cutoff will be returned to the start. For Sunday Mayhem runners there is a cutoff of one hour 45 minutes for the first lap. Race numbers and timing chips are collected from registration on the day.
