Phoenix May the Fourth Be With You 5K
Phoenix May the Fourth Be With You 5K is a themed 5K run and walk held on May 3, 2026 at Kiwanis Park, 101 West Baseline Road, Tempe, AZ. The event is presented by StartLine Racing and includes both in-person and virtual participation options.
Available distances and formats:
- 5K Run/Walk in person
- Virtual Run with mailed race shirt and finisher medal, US addresses only
In-person participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom Dri-Fit shirt with a no-shirt discount option. Race day awards are given to the top three in male and female divisions across multiple age groups from 8 & Under through 80 & Over. Additional recognitions include best dressed awards. The event uses chip timing with real time results and publishes photos.
Packet pickup is offered the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on race morning at the venue. Mail-in registrations are accepted through April 27, 2026. Race day registration may be available if spots remain.
The course is mapped and may be adjusted for safety by the Race Director. The event operates rain or shine and does not offer refunds or transfers due to weather. Leashed pets are welcome and wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are permitted. Roller blades, bicycles, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course.
