Phoenix May the Fourth Be With You 5K : Tempe, AZ
The event takes place on May 3, 2026 at Kiwanis Park, 101 West Baseline Road, Tempe, AZ. It is organized by StartLine Racing and offers both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual Run option.
- 5K Run/Walk: In-person 5 kilometer run or walk.
- Virtual Run: Run anywhere in the US; shirt and medal mailed after May 3, 2026.
Participants receive a custom event finisher's medal and a custom dri fit shirt with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 reduction. Race day participants are eligible for male and female age group awards for the top three in each category, with age groups from 8 and under up to 80 and over. Best dressed awards and pre and post race snacks are included for on site participants.
The event uses chip timing with real time results and photos available via the organizer's website or mobile app. Packet pick up is offered at Road Runner Sports in Tempe the day before the event and at Kiwanis Park on race day. Mail in registrations are accepted until April 27, 2026. Virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses and virtual participants will receive instructions by email on how to submit their time.
The course is subject to change if deemed unsafe. The event is leashed pet friendly and welcomes wheelchairs strollers and wagons. Roller blades roller skates bicycles skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
