Mattoon Last Chance Tri
This triathlon takes place at the Mattoon Area Family YMCA in Mattoon, Illinois. The event comprises three sequential segments that begin and end at the YMCA facility.
The race distances are:
- 275 yard indoor pool swim
- 12 mile bike ride
- 3.1 mile run
Pre-registration includes a tech shirt if registered by September 12, 2025. Awards are presented to overall male and female finishers, the top two in each listed men's and women's age group, and the top two teams. Age groups include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 plus.
Race rules require helmets for the bike portion and prohibit headphones while cycling. The event is not sanctioned by USA Triathlon; USAT rules are used as guidelines for race conduct.
