Matariki King and Queen of the Mountain
This is a Maunga running event in Auckland held on Matariki Friday and organised by the club. The course goes up the club Maunga and offers separate distances for adults and tamariki.

- 2.5 km for tamariki
The event is open to everyone and accommodates both competitive and social participants. A registration desk operates in the club rooms on race day where participants collect race bibs, and participants jog from the club rooms to the start. After the run the club provides tea and soup.
