Race details and prizes
The routes run in mountainous terrain with steep ascents and rapid descents. The course description notes crossings of streams, rocky sections, and areas of dense forest. Cash prizes are offered for overall and Emirati categories in both distances, separated by male and female classifications. Prize amounts for the 24 km overall and Emirati categories are 1st: 2000, 2nd: 1000, 3rd: 600. Prize amounts for the 10 km overall and Emirati categories are 1st: 1500, 2nd: 700, 3rd: 500.
