Marwell 10K
The Marwell 10K is a scenic running event held at Marwell Wildlife, a renowned conservation zoo in Owslebury, Hampshire. The 10-kilometer course starts and finishes inside the zoo near the Penguin Cove, featuring an undulating route that passes through the zoo, the village of Owslebury, and surrounding countryside, including a hill into the village. The race supports conservation efforts, specifically the protection of the endangered Grevy's Zebra through Marwell’s Save Our Stripes appeal.
Participants receive a zebra-themed medal, with an optional themed t-shirt available. All runners enjoy free entry to the zoo post-race, making it a unique and family-friendly sporting occasion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
