Marwell 10K 2026
The Marwell 10K takes place on Sunday 27th September 2026 at Marwell Wildlife in Winchester, Hampshire. The event is listed as sold out and the waiting list is closed.
This is a 10 km road race that starts and finishes within Marwell Zoo with special permission from Marwell Wildlife. The undulating course heads into Owslebury village, includes a notable hill into the village, runs through surrounding countryside and returns for a final loop through the zoo. The race is organised in partnership with Hedge End Running Club and local community groups.
The event supports conservation of endangered species, with this year’s proceeds directed to Marwell Wildlife’s Amur tiger conservation project in Bhutan. Marwell Wildlife is a registered charity (no. 275433). All finishers receive a commemorative tiger themed medal. Runners may opt to purchase a tiger themed technical t-shirt for £6 with sizes from XS to XXL or choose not to receive a t-shirt. All runners receive free entry to the zoo after the race.
Practical details include an entry fee of £32.00/£34.00 plus a £1.75 booking fee, chip timing on the race number, venue facilities such as refreshments, toilets, bag storage and free car parking, and a minimum age requirement of 15 years in line with UKA rules.
