Marwell 10K 2026
The Marwell 10K takes place on Sunday 27th September at Marwell Wildlife in Owslebury, Winchester, Hampshire. The event is currently sold out and the waiting list is closed.
This is a 10 km road race that starts and finishes within Marwell Zoo. The undulating course leaves the zoo, climbs into Owslebury village, runs through surrounding countryside and returns for a loop through the zoo. Venue facilities include refreshments, information, toilets, bag storage, free car parking, pre and post race massage, and t-shirt collection.
The race supports Marwell Wildlife, a conservation and education charity (registered charity no. 275433). This year the event benefits Marwell Wildlife’s Amur tiger conservation project in Bhutan. Phase 1 of the project documented tiger stories, rituals, and artworks across Bhutan. Phase 2 aims to turn those insights into conservation actions; funding for Phase 2 has run out.
All finishers receive a commemorative tiger themed medal included in the entry fee. Runners may opt to purchase a tiger themed technical t-shirt for £6 with sizes from XS to XXL. All runners are granted free entry into Marwell Zoo after the race. Race numbers include a chip timing strip and the event is held under UK Athletics rules. Entries sold by the organiser are on a no refund basis and the organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event in unforeseen circumstances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
