Mariachi 5K, La Pacific - Huntington Park, CA
The Mariachi 5K at La Pacific takes place on September 19, 2026, in Huntington Park at 7148 Pacific Blvd. The event is presented in celebration of the City of Huntington Park's 120th anniversary and includes a separate 1K run for children.

The course features live entertainment with three mariachi bands on the route, DJ music, cheering squads, and local supporters. Attendees may bring instruments such as trumpets and guitars to play along with the mariachis and may wear traditional attire including Charro traje, sarape, sombrero, or folklore skirts. A post-race fiesta follows the course and includes a costume contest, additional live music, and games.
Race options include a recreational entry without chip timing and a chip-timed competitive entry with awards; chip timing is optional and requires an additional fee. Finish items listed for participants include crafted medallions for the 5K and 1K, a T-shirt for 5K entrants, and food provisions noted as two tacos and a cold beer for those 21 and older.
