Maree 8K 2026

The annual Maree 8K is a scenic 8-kilometer run. The 2026 event is its 17th edition. It will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, starting from and finishing at the Maree Community Centre in Maree, Oranmore, County Galway. The route goes out to Galway Bay and down the Twain peninsula before returning to the community centre. The course has been measured to official Athletics Ireland standards.

The event is organised by the Maree Community Development Association in conjunction with Maree Athletics Club. It raises funds for facilities at the Maree Community Centre.
