Maratona Internacional de Porto Alegre : 05 and 06 June 2027
The event spans two days and includes a marathon and a half marathon plus an individual children's participation race with age-specific distances. Distances offered:
- Marathon: 42.195 m
- Half Marathon: 21.097 m
- Maratoninha Kids: multiple distances by age group (50 m to 400 m)
Registration rules specify 50% discounts for athletes aged 60 or older and for athletes with disabilities (PCD). Discounts require submission of identity document or medical diagnosis with CID during registration; inconsistent documentation will lead to cancellation and refund. Kits for athletes over 60 must be collected in person with presentation of identity.
Elite field selection requires athletes to meet time standards achieved in official races between 2025 and 2027. Required reference times are given separately for male and female elite pelotons across marathon, half marathon and 10 km. Elite entrants must choose the elite peloton during registration and upload an athletic curriculum listing best marks and a profile on CBAt or World Athletics. After review the organizer may confirm or cancel elite registrations.
There is a minimum group size for team or coaching entries. Kit distribution and a marathon fair take place in early June at the Centro de Eventos do BarraShoppingSul; exact schedules and the official regulation may be updated by the organizer. The half marathon has a maximum duration of 3h30 and the marathon a maximum duration of 6h; participants who exceed these limits will be disqualified.
