About the race
The Maratona Internacional de Floripa Fibra 2027 is a road running event in Florianópolis, scheduled for 29/08/2027. The program includes a full marathon (42 km), a half marathon (21 km), a 5 km race, and combined challenge options that pair distances.
Notable course features include views along Avenida Beira-Mar Norte and Via Expressa Sul. The marathon and half marathon hold the CBAt Gold seal and the marathon will carry a World Athletics Label. The course is used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. In 2026 the event registered about 19,000 participants.
Registration is organized in multiple timed pricing lots with increasing fees; reduced registration fees apply to elderly participants and to people with disabilities under the event regulations. Delivery of race kits occurs on specific pre-race days at that location; kits are expected to be collected by registered athletes and are not available on race day or after the event.
Prize structure includes cash awards for top finishers in elite male and female categories across distances, category trophies, finisher medals for all finishers, and extra bonuses for new course records in the marathon and half marathon.
