The Maratona Internacional de Floripa is a major road running event held in Florianópolis. It is recognized for its flat course, which previously earned it a ranking as the fastest marathon in Brazil by Contra Relógio magazine. Participation and Logistics

Kit collection takes place at the Villa Romana Shopping center in the days leading up to the races. There is no kit delivery on the day of the event. The schedule includes a technical congress for elite athletes and a pre-race dinner available by prior purchase. All finishers receive a commemorative medal, and cash prizes are awarded to the top five finishers in the general classification for both the marathon and half marathon.
