XLII Maratón Internacional de Guadalajara Skarch 2026
The Maratón Internacional de Guadalajara is a long-distance running event held in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The event is recognized as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Guadalajara and holds the World Athletics LABEL distinction. The race follows a certified and approved route that adheres to the standards of World Athletics (WA) and Mundo de Atletismo en México (MAM).

The event is open to national and foreign runners who are at least 18 years old on the day of the competition. The registration is limited to a total capacity of 4,000 participants. The competition features eight different age-based categories for both men and women, starting from the 18 to 34 age group up to the 65 and older group.
Specific categories are available for parathletes, including divisions for participants with visual impairments, hearing impairments, and those using competition wheelchairs. The event is included in the international and national calendars of major athletic organizations, such as the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and the Jalisco Association of Athletic Clubs (AJCA).
An athletic expo is scheduled prior to the race where remaining registrations may be available if the participant limit has not been reached. Special registration arrangements are provided for elite athletes, parathletes, and runners aged 60 and over, subject to specific requirements and availability.
