Maratón Internacional Elche-Alicante
The Maratón Internacional Elche-Alicante is scheduled for 29 November 2026 and is organised by Club Atlético Montemar together with the city councils of Elche and Alicante. The official course is homologated by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA) and links the two cities.
The race distance is 42,195 km. The route starts in Elche on Calle Diagonal del Palau near Palacio Altamira and finishes at Muelle 12 in the Port of Alicante. Historically the distance between both city centres was 28 kilometres; from November 2026 the event covers the full marathon distance.
Services for participants are published by the organisation. Bib collection takes place at the Feria del Corredor on Paseo de la Estación in Elche on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November with continuous opening hours from 10:00 to 20:00. Race-day bag drop points are located at the Candalix parking in Elche and at the Paseo del Puerto Viejo near the Casino Mediterráneo in Alicante; cloakroom service must be contracted during registration.
A race-day bus service connects Elche with the start and returns participants from the finish to Elche; the service is a paid option purchased at registration.
