Maratón Internacional Elche-Alicante 2026
The Maratón Internacional Elche-Alicante 2026 is the second edition of the race, scheduled for 29 November 2026. It is organised by Club Atlético Montemar together with the city councils of Elche and Alicante. The official circuit is homologated by the RFEA.
The race course links the two cities: the start is in Elche on calle Diagonal del Palau, next to Palacio Altamira, and the finish is at Muelle 12 in the port of Alicante. From November 2026 the event adopts the full marathon distance of 42,195 km, while the direct distance between the city centres is noted as roughly 28 km.
Practical details published by the organiser include:
- Bib collection at the Feria del Corredor on Paseo de la Estación in Elche on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, continuous hours 10:00 to 20:00.
- Guardarropa (bag drop) locations: Parking de Candalix in Elche and Paseo del Puerto viejo beside Casino Mediterráneo in Alicante; this service must be contracted at registration.
- Transport: buses will take participants from pickup points in Alicante to the Elche start area and return from the parking of Playa del Postiguet to drop-off points in Elche; the transfer has a fee of 4 EUR and must be contracted at registration.
- Route map and a Google Maps route are available for consultation and a race regulation document can be downloaded.
