About the race
The 14th edition of the 10K FACSA Castelló will take place on February 14, 2027, in Castellón de la Plana. This road race is held on an urban circuit that is officially homologated by the RFEA and World Athletics. The event holds the World Athletics Race Label, placing it among high-quality international athletic competitions. The course is designed for speed and is integrated into the official national and international calendars.
Participation is open to athletes of all nationalities, whether federated or not, provided they are in the Junior category or older (at least 16 years old on the day of the race). The event has a participation limit of 5,000 runners. The start is located at Avenida Vila-Real, and the finish line is situated on the central platform of Ribalta Park.
Available services and race details:
- 10 km distance on a marked urban circuit.
- Pacing assistants (hares) for target times of 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60 minutes.
- Start corrals organized by certified personal bests.
- Wardrobe service at Gaetà Huguet school.
- Hydration station at the 5 km mark and at the finish.
- Medical assistance points along the route and at the finish line.
The maximum time allowed to complete the race is 1 hour and 20 minutes, with specific time barriers at each kilometer mark. Participants must collect their race bib, chip, and runner's bag at the Runner's Fair (Expo Maratón) located in the El Grau room on Friday or Saturday before the event.
