About the race
Marató BP Castelló is presented in the same programme as the 10K FACSA CASTELLÓ in Castellón de la Plana. The race is listed together with the 10K as a World Athletics Race Label event and appears in national athletics calendars handled under World Athletics and the RFEA framework. The event is organized locally by C.A. RUNNING CASTELLÓ with registrations managed by FREE RUN CASTELLÓN via RockTheSport.
Local institutions and sponsors named in the event materials include the city council and bp among others. Logistics associated with the combined race weekend include an Expo del Corredor at Sala El Grau where bibs, timing chips and runner bags are distributed in the days before the races. Volunteer activities are coordinated across both events through a common volunteer form, and the organisation provides medical support and safety measures on the course as set out in the event regulations. Anti doping control may be applied in accordance with World Athletics rules. The programme for the weekend and the detailed regulations, including eligibility, limits on entries and race rules, are published by the organisers and reference the official technical regulations of the national federation and World Athletics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
