NN Marathon Rotterdam
The NN Marathon Rotterdam is an international running event held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Known for its flat and fast course, it attracts professional athletes and club runners from across the world. The event takes place over a weekend and features a variety of distances held on Saturday and Sunday. The marathon distance serves as the Dutch National Championship (NK Marathon).

The route concludes at the Coolsingel, where hundreds of thousands of spectators typically gather to support the runners. Along the marathon course, refreshment stations are provided every 5 km, offering water and sports drinks. Timing is officially measured using an electronic chip attached to the bib number. On the weekend of the event, a Marathon Sport Expo is hosted at the WTC Rotterdam, where participants can collect their start numbers and visit various exhibitions.
Regarding registration, the marathon distance uses a pre-registration system with a random selection process. The minimum age for the full marathon is 18 years, while other distances like the 10 km and the City Run have minimum ages of 14 and 12 years, respectively.
