About the race
The NN Marathon Rotterdam is a two day running event in Rotterdam on 10 and 11 April 2027. The weekend includes the international marathon over 42.195 km, which also serves as the Dutch national championship (NK Marathon), plus a programme of shorter runs, walks and youth races. The marathon is held on a largely flat course and finishes on the Coolsingel in the city centre. For the marathon distance the organisation uses a pre registration system with equal chances for all applicants; the pre registration opens soon.
Event services and race logistics described for the weekend include a Marathon Sport Expo at the Postillion Convention Centre WTC for number pickup and t shirt collection, chip based time registration, medical information on the back of the start number, pacers from the Dutch Pacing Team and meeting points on Schouwburgplein. All finishers receive a medal and there is on site medal engraving. Photographers cover the course and finish; personal race photos are available afterwards.
On the course there are multiple refreshment and sponge stations and provisions such as water, isotonic drink, bananas and gels.
