The courses are designed to showcase the coastal scenery and local heritage, with approximately 6 km of the route running directly along the oceanfront. Distances and Formats
Participants can choose from seven different races:
- Marathon: The full distance route travels through iconic spots in the Basque Country, connecting the ocean, local villages, and the coastline.
- Marathon Relay 3: A team version of the marathon where three runners share the distance, covering sections across urban, rural, and coastal landscapes.
- Semi-Marathon: A half-marathon course located within Biarritz, featuring a passage along the sea front.
- 14 km La Boucle des Plages: A loop through the heart of Biarritz with a focus on the beach areas and panoramic views.
- 10 km Chrono: A timed race designed for accessibility, following the coastal heritage paths.
- 5 km Matmut: A solidarity-focused race where participation supports physical activities for children in hospitals or with disabilities.
- Kids Races: Four different formats for younger runners ranging from 400 m to 1.6 km, held on the track at Stade Aguilera.
The event is supported by 850 volunteers and maintains a participant demographic of 49% women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
