Marathon de Magog
Sunday, October 11 in Magog in the Estrie region, the event offers multiple road race distances with routes available for each distance.
Offered distances:
- 42.2 km (marathon)
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km kids run
Course maps are provided online for the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km routes. Parking is available at several locations at varying distances from the start, including Cabana 1.5 km, Du Moulin 1.1 km and Merry 400 m, plus nearby street parking.
A drop bag area is available; organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Water stations are located every 2 to 3 km offering water and Pro Circuit sports drink at each station. Medical service and a shuttle are provided for those who withdraw.
After the race each participant receives a medal, a gift and a postrace meal. Podiums and medal awards are planned for the top three men and women in each distance. Live results are published via Sportchrono.
The event benefits Fondation de la Ruche and donates surplus food to Banque Alimentaire Memphrémagog. Attendees may bring used coats, windbreakers or shoes for redistribution to local people in need. Personalized race accessories are supplied by Sport Import. Bib pickup takes place the day before and the morning of the event at Parc des Braves and on site registration is possible in cash only.
