Maple Leaf Half Marathon - Manchester, Vermont
The Maple Leaf Half Marathon and Kotler 5K are annual races held each September in Manchester, Vermont, taking place the Saturday following Labor Day. The courses pass from the downtown community through village settings and along country roads past farm lands, with early fall foliage visible along the route. A half-marathon course record of 1:11:21 was set in 2018.

Volunteer support is integral to the race. The event requires about 100 volunteers and offers a complimentary race entry to all volunteers. Those volunteering on race day receive a virtual entry; those volunteering prior to the race receive an entry of their choice, in-person or virtual. Typical volunteer roles include registration (5+ positions), timing assistant (4 positions), medals (3-5 positions), merch table (2 positions), food tent (4 positions) and course marshals (25 positions).
