Make a Difference for ALS Run/Walk
The event takes place on July 18, 2026 at Roseau City Park in Roseau, Minnesota. It is a community run and walk that includes a kids dash, a 5K walk/run and a 1 mile fun walk/run.

- 1 mile fun walk/run
Registration opens April 30, 2026 and the pre registration deadline is July 1, 2026. Entry fees are listed as $30 if postmarked by July 1, 2026 and $40 if postmarked after that date. Family rates are listed as $85 by July 1, 2026 and $95 after July 1, 2026. There is a limited supply of T shirts available for those who register on the day of the event.
Race packet pickup and on site registration are available the day before and the morning of the event at Roseau City Park. Age divisions are 6-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50-109. Awards include a plaque for overall first place male and female, medals in each age division except the fun run and kids dash, and many door prizes. A tie for a fundraiser prize is decided by the flip of a coin.
There will be a Memory Garden to honor loved ones; donations may indicate On behalf Of or In Honor Of and registration is not required to donate. Proceeds support patients in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and fund research. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
