Mail Pouch Mile
Mail Pouch Mile is a one-day event on 08/22/2026 at W6066 G 18 Rd, Carney, MI 49812, US. The program includes two distinct events held at the farm on the same day.
The Farm 5K is a casual trail race that follows wooded double-track trails behind the farm. The course is described as relatively flat and requires runners to stay on course to avoid nearby fields. Registration for the 5K is free and opens on 2026-05-14 and closes on 2026-07-05.
The Mail Pouch Beer Mile starts and finishes at the historic Mail Pouch barn and uses an out-and-back 0.25 mile course on the gravel driveway. The format follows the standard beer mile pattern: each competitor consumes four beers and runs four 0.25 mile intervals, beginning with drinking a beer and alternating beer and laps until completion. Beer is provided unless a participant prefers to supply four unopened cans or bottles of at least 12 oz and a minimum 5% ABV. Beer must be consumed before each lap within the transition area. Competitors who vomit before finishing must complete one penalty lap immediately after their fourth lap; multiple vomits during the race still require only one penalty lap. The event follows Beer Mile official rules except that it does not take place on a standard 400m track. All beer mile participants must be 21 years or older.
