Lumberjack 100 - Port Gamble, WA

The Lumberjack 100 returns for its 15th year at the Uplands in Port Gamble, Washington. The event offers three distances:

  • 100 Miler
  • 100K
  • 50 Miler

The course is eight loops of 12.5 miles each, totaling 100 miles for the longest distance. It is approximately 75% single track and 25% dirt road, with about 1350 feet of elevation gain per loop. The route is marked with reflective tape and reflective arrows. A GPX file is provided for use with Garmin, Apple Watch, COROS, and Suunto devices.

There are two fully stocked aid stations per loop, about 6 miles apart. Aid stations include hot food, vegan and gluten free options, Tailwind, and volunteers. Massage therapists and a reflexologist are available at the start/finish area. Drop bags are supported with a canopy after each loop.

Pacing is allowed for the 100 mile and 100K distances after 50 miles (after loop 4). No pacers are allowed for the 50 mile distance.

The start/finish sits 1/4 mile south of Port Gamble on state route 104. Parking, car and tent camping, and space for RVs are available. Friday night camping at the Uplands incurs a $20 fee and parking space is more limited; larger RVs or 5th wheels should contact the organizer. There is no running water at the start/finish; a store and guesthouses are located in town and hotels are available in nearby Poulsbo.

All entrants have a 30 hour overall cutoff; 100 mile runners may receive additional time depending on lap 7 performance. Finishers receive custom medals and 100 mile finishers receive buckles. Registered participants receive a sweatshirt and additional event items to be determined. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
