LPD National Police Week 5k/10k Run & 1 Mile Run
This event takes place on May 9, 2026 at El Metro Park & Ride, 1800 Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041. It includes multiple running distances and organized age group competition.

Registration information lists preregistration at $25 and onsite registration at $45. The 1 mile run and walk is listed at $25. Packet pickup is scheduled for May 7 and May 8 with location and times to be announced.
The first 100 registered participants receive a free shirt. Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age category for both the 5k and 10k events. Race finisher medals are available while supplies last. Age categories for male and female competitors are 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
