About the race
The SkyRace Gorges du Tarn is a 25 km mountain trail race held in the Gorges du Tarn area on 15 May 2027. The course accumulates about 1900 m of positive elevation and runs in and around Sainte-Enimie, using technical paths and varied terrain typical of the Massif Central. The event is labeled SKYRUNNING by the International Skyrunning Federation and serves as a stage of the Skyrunner World Series. The route is built from a succession of short, steep climbs and descents on rocky and narrow trails, requiring attention to footing and repeated changes of pace. Race capacity is limited to 500 participants.
Online registration is required; same-day on-site registration is not available. Entry fees listed are 45 euros per participant before 15 January 2026 and 50 euros thereafter. A local meal after the race is included and takes place at the Sainte-Enimie community hall near the finish area. Mandatory equipment includes an individual bib with electronic chip, at least 0.5 L of drinking water and energy reserves for the whole course, a drinking receptacle for aid stations, weather-appropriate clothing, a charged mobile phone, a waterproof jacket with hood, a whistle and a full survival blanket.
