Loteria Run - 5K Run
The Lotería Run is presented by Huarache Turbo as the 15th annual themed running event. It is a 5K Run/Walk held on April 11, 2027 at McAllister Park, Pavilion #2 in San Antonio, Texas. The event features chip timing and customized bib numbers.
Awards include overall male and female winners and masters, age group awards in 10 year bands for the first three male and female finishers, and a best Lotería costume prize. Age group awards are based on chip time and overall winner awards are based on gun time; duplication of awards is not permitted. The event also offers finisher medals, age group award medals, a costume contest, and official event tees.
Entry fees are nonrefundable and follow tiered pricing as listed: $35 early bird, $40 starting August 1, and $45 starting December 1. Packet pick up details are to be determined.
A free kids run is offered the same day; the kids run does not include finisher medals and awards only the top three male and female finishers. Limited kids tees are available on a first come, first served basis.
The event is dedicated in memory of an individual and includes a symbolic $100 donation used to support conversations about suicide prevention, with particular attention to active and ex-military persons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
