Event Details
The Lost Gold 5k and Fun Run takes place in Washington, Georgia. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. It is a fundraiser for Friends of the Square, with proceeds supporting community-centered arts and entertainment activities on the historic Washington Town Square.

Schedule and Registration
Late registration and check-in begin at 8:30 a.m. on race day. The race starts at 10:00 a.m. Packet and T-shirt pickup is available the day before the race, Friday, April 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington-Wilkes Tourist Information Center.
Registration fees vary:
- 5k (with T-shirt): $30 before March 15, 2026, and $40 after.
- 5k (without T-shirt): $25 before March 15, and $35 after.
- Fun Run (with T-shirt): $20.
- Fun Run (without T-shirt): $10.
- T-shirt only: $20.
Location and Awards
The start line is at 23 East Court Street, in front of the Courthouse in Washington. Awards are presented for first place male and female finishers in multiple age groups, from 14 and Under to 70 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
