Loop The Hooch 50K/25K/Team Relay
Loop The Hooch is a trail running event on April 17, 2027, at Chattahoochee Pointe Park in Suwanee, Georgia. The event offers the following distances:
- 50K Solo
- 25K Solo
- 50K Team Relay
The course is a winding 5 kilometer gravel and dirt loop along the Chattahoochee River. The organizers describe the route as fast and flat. The current course record for the 50K is 3:29:03 and there are cash prizes of $500 for any solo runner or team that beats the existing 50K solo or relay course record.
Relay teams may include up to five runners. Teams choose Female for all female teams or OPEN for mixed or all male teams. The team collectively covers 50K, typically divided into ten loops, and each team member receives a bib with a timing chip. A relay transition zone is identified on the course; teams should avoid gathering near the finish arch. Teams may set up a crew tent but must not place items closer than 10 ft from the course. Each team is allowed a maximum of two vehicles.
A fully stocked aid station with water and electrolyte mix is available and is passed once each loop just before the start and finish area. All event hydration is cup less so participants should bring a bottle or reusable cup.
A Mindful Moment and warmup session will be hosted by Lululemon before the races, with gift cards for the first 50 registrants who attend. Bib and shirt pickup is available at Big Peach Running Co. Suwanee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
