Lookin' For A Cure Houston is a fundraising 5K event held in Terry Hershey Park in Houston, Texas. The event includes both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option.

The event raises funds for research into ocular melanoma, a rare eye cancer estimated at roughly 3,000 new cases per year nationwide. Organizers have set a fundraising goal of $20,000 and a portion of proceeds will benefit research in Houston, Texas. Teams and individual fundraisers are part of the fundraising structure.
Registration details differ by event. In-person registration opens August 20, 2026 and closes September 20, 2026 with a fee of $25. Virtual registration opens January 2, 2026 and closes November 1, 2026 with a fee of $40. Packet pickup is available on the day of the race.
Registered participants receive race amenities including a guaranteed t-shirt for registrations by October 19, a finisher medal, commemorative race bib, official finishers time with age group placements, food and drink, an aid station, and free downloadable photos.
