Longview Juneteenth Freedom 5K
The Longview Juneteenth Freedom 5K is a community run/walk held on June 20, 2026, at 415 American Legion Blvd in Longview, Texas. The event is organized by the City of Longview Juneteenth Committee and the Longview Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and honors the significance of Juneteenth while promoting community wellness and unity.
The course is professionally marked and the event features music and community engagement to create a positive atmosphere. The event is presented as family-friendly and welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. Awards and prizes are noted as forthcoming.
Registration is free but limited to the first 85 participants, and there is no onsite registration. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the waiver.
