Abbott Longford Marathon 2026
The Abbott Longford Marathon began in 2002 to mark the completion of a local runner's 100th marathon. A permit has been approved for the event, cert.no: 25/602.
Over more than two decades the event has grown to include several races that take place on and around Main Street, Longford. The course is described as flat and runs through the three counties of Longford, Roscommon and Leitrim. The event is organised by runners, for runners, and organisers state they focus on thorough organisation and on the participant experience.
