London Training Night at Battersea Park
The London Training Night takes place on 10 July 2026 at Battersea Park. The session is free and coach-led, delivered by the RunThrough Coaching team. It combines a structured workout with practical coaching guidance intended to improve endurance, pacing and overall running performance. The event is set in a popular London running location and brings together local runners for a coached training session.
The session is designed to develop speed endurance, lactate tolerance and the ability to maintain running form under fatigue. Participants begin with a 1 km or Mad Mile time trial as a benchmark effort, then progress to a relay-based interval workout. Guided running drills are included to address running mechanics and movement efficiency. The combination of a maximal benchmark effort and repeated high-intensity intervals is intended to replicate demands of middle-distance and 5K racing, while the relay format pairs runners for repeated 400 m efforts to encourage pace maintenance and race-specific resilience.
