London 25km Challenge
The Sick Children's Trust organises the London 25km Challenge, an urban walking event that starts at Admiralty Arch in central London. The route covers 25 km, taking participants past world-famous landmarks and across several of the city’s historic bridges.
The event is listed with a five hour duration and is conducted in person. Participants are asked to commit to a minimum sponsorship of £200. The minimum age to take part is 13; people aged 13 to 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Well behaved dogs are welcome on a short lead. The event has a no refunds policy.
The organising charity provides free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation and emotional and practical support to families with seriously ill children in hospital in the UK.
