Little Rock Marathon
The Little Rock Marathon is a race weekend in Little Rock, Arkansas, organized as a project of and benefiting Little Rock Parks & Recreation. The event features multiple race options and an expo with packet pick up at the Statehouse Convention Center in the days before the main races. The marathon start and finish are located on LaHarpe Blvd.
Distances and events include:
- 26.2 miles Marathon
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 10 km 10K
- 5 km 5K
- Kids Marathon and All Abilities Marathon
The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston qualifying course. The event provides participant amenities such as free training, a digital race book, a pace team, a participant shirt and a personalized race number when registered by the stated deadline. The course description notes city landmarks, on-course entertainment, plentiful aid stations and local hospitality. Finishers receive an appropriately large finisher medal, a digital finisher certificate available online mid April and post race festivities.
An Early Start option is available for marathon athletes who need six to eight hours to complete the 26.2 mile distance. Early Start requires approval by the race registrar, is restricted to those who cannot finish within six hours, and athletes using it must remain with or behind the six hour pacers or face disqualification.
