About the race
The Little Rock Marathon is a multi day road race weekend in Little Rock, Arkansas held March 6 and 7, 2027. The event includes a full marathon distance of 26.2 miles plus a half marathon, 10K, 5K, a kids marathon, and an All Abilities Marathon. The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The marathon program offers an early start option for athletes who require extra time to complete the distance; early start entrants are restricted to a pace no faster than a six hour finish pace and must be approved by the race registrar.
The event also includes a wheelchair and hand cycle division and pacing groups for runners. Race amenities listed for marathon participants include free training, a digital race book, access to pacers, a participant shirt and personalized race number for those registered by the stated deadline, plentiful course support and aid stations, and entertainment along a scenic course featuring the citys landmarks. Marathon finishers receive a large finisher medal, a digital finisher certificate, and post race festivities. The Little Rock Marathon is a project of and benefits Little Rock Parks and Recreation. The weekend also features an expo and packet pick up and several community races and themed events connected to the main race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
