Lions Port Union Waterfront Run
The Lions Port Union Waterfront Run is a community sporting event organized by the West Hill - Highland Creek Lions Club. It takes place as part of the Port Union Waterfront Festival at the Port Union Village Commons, located at the foot of Port Union Road in Toronto. The proceeds from the event are used to support various needs within the community.
The event features routes along the waterfront with the following distance options:
- 5 km run or walk
- 10 km run
The course is marked with specific turnaround points and a combined start and finish line. Professional timing services are used to record participant results. Registered participants are eligible for race kits, which can be collected on the Friday prior to the event at a designated running store in Pickering or at the Port Union Village Common Park check-in area near the amphitheatre on the morning of the run.
