About the race
The Lions Labor Day Classic is the first edition of a community running event in Dresden, Tennessee, held at the Wilson Park pavilion at 610 Gaylord St. Races route through downtown Dresden and include multiple distances to accommodate different preferences.

- 1 mile
- 5K
- 10K
Registration details are provided for each race. Registration opens July 21, 2026 for the 5K and 10K and July 22, 2026 for the 1-mile; registration closes September 7, 2026. Stated entry fees are $10 for the 1-mile and $20 for the 5K and 10K. Groups of five or more are eligible for a group rate.
Age categories span youth to masters and are listed as 0-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers by age group and gender. Race proceeds will benefit the Dresden Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
