Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon
The Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon is scheduled as the 25th edition on April 11, 2027 in Linz. The event is organized by LIVA Sport together with media and city partners. The organisers report over 21,000 participants in past editions.
The weekend includes several competitions and formats:
- Oberbank Marathon - 2,800 starting spots
- ORLEN Half Marathon - 5,700 starting spots
- Hyundai Relay Marathon - 700 relays
- LINZ AG Quarter Marathon - 5,800 starting spots
- Generali 5K - 2,400 starting spots
- Ascendor Handbike Half Marathon - 25 starting spots
- Fischer Brot Inline Skating Half Marathon - 200 spots
- ÖGK Junior Marathon
- Special Olympics Run
Registration is limited and possible while starting places last. Entry fees vary by competition and contingent. The registration entry deadline is Thursday, 18 March 2027. A personal time and name can be engraved on the finisher medal for €12.
Important notes from the organisers: there will be no race number distribution on race day; runners under 18 need a signed consent from a legal guardian; participation on bicycles, roller skates, with baby carriages and other sports equipment is not permitted and leads to disqualification; accompanying non-participants using such equipment is prohibited; course controls will be carried out; changing the start number leads to disqualification.
