Limerick City Night Run
The event is a city-centre night race in Limerick featuring a single road race of 5 km that finishes at King John's Castle. The course uses closed city streets and passes Nicholas Street, Patrick Street, O'Connell Street, The Crescent, O'Connell Avenue and out to Punches Cross before returning to the castle. Roads are fully marshalled and traffic is closed for the race.
Participants receive a custom Halloween finisher medal and each runner is chip timed. The finish area includes a live DJ and Halloween lighting, with live music and a post-race party inside King John's Castle included with every race entry. There are on-course water stations, refreshments at the finish, a bag drop at check-in, and official race photos.
Fancy dress is optional; prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. The field is limited to 2000 runners and entry is open to ages 16 and older. Spectator tickets are available for castle entry to watch the finish and attend the post-race music and drinks.
