Limburg Wine Walk
The Limburg Wine Walk is a walking event on 3 October 2026 at Landgoed Kasteelhoeve Cartils in Gulpen-Wittem, in the Eyserbeekdal between Gulpen and Eys. The route leads mainly over offroad paths through vineyards, woods and meadows and includes noticeable elevation gain.
Participants receive a unique wine glass for the tastings. There are tasting stops with local Limburg wines and matching snacks; each tasting station provides wine and some food and water or juice. Organizers do not provide single-use plastic cups, so participants should bring a reusable cup in addition to the supplied wine glass.
Routes are clearly marked with large fluorescent orange signs and GPX files will be available a few days before the event. The event area on the estate includes a start and finish zone with music, additional wine and food. A DJ provides music on the domain. There is a large parking area about 200 m from the start/finish.
Registrations are handled through the Passion For Sports registration platform. The event supports the Kika charity; the 2025 edition raised 7000 euros.
