The Lighthouse Half Marathon & 2 Miler takes place on June 14, 2026 in Painesville, Ohio, along the Fairport Harbor lakefront. The event includes a half marathon, a two person relay, and a 2 miler loop course.
The half marathon course is described as flat and fast and runs a block away from Lake Erie through Lake Metropark Painesville Township Park. The 2 Miler is a loop contained entirely within Fairport Harbor. The start location is Fairport Memorial Park and the finish area is at Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park, 301 Huntington Beach Drive, Painesville, OH 44077.
A time limit of 3 hours 30 minutes applies to the half marathon. Aid stations provide water and Gatorade approximately every two miles at the following mile markers: about 2.0, 3.7, 5.7, 7.1, 8.5, 9.5, and 11.2. The aid station near mile 8.5 includes bathrooms and the relay exchange point.
