Liberty Station Relay and 5K

The Liberty Station Relay and 5K takes place on July 4, 2027 at NTC Park in Liberty Station, San Diego. The event program includes a solo 5K, a half marathon run as five laps, and a half marathon relay for teams of two to five.

The course runs through wide park paths, past historic naval architecture, and along waterfront sections of San Diego Bay. Surfaces are approximately 95% pavement and 5% trail. Parking is available on surrounding streets and in nearby parking lots.

Event facilities and services include chipped timing, a race t shirt, and a finisher medal. Awards are given for overall and age group finishers. A designated team tailgate area is provided for relay teams. Packet pickup will be offered via a single pre race option in 2027; details will be announced in early 2027. Pre race pickup is optional and another person may pick up a participant packet on behalf of the entrant. Military and veteran service members are eligible for a discount if they request a discount code before registering.
