Lennox Lapsley's Running for Healthy Hearts
The event takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Millboro, South Dakota, at 29859 310th Avenue. It is the fifth annual half marathon fundraiser. Proceeds from this race will be donated to the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital; for 2026 the donation is directed to a U of M research project related to ECMO.
There are two race options:
- Half marathon
- 13.1 mile relay (teams of two to four)
Relay teams may be composed of two, three, or four people. Exchange stations are available at approximately every 3.27 miles and teams may choose which exchange stations to use. A kids fun run will also be offered, with sign up opening in June.
Registration includes race entrance, a shirt (subject to availability for late registrations), a finisher’s medal, a drawstring bag (subject to availability for late registrations), samples from sponsors, and a finisher’s celebration with refreshments. Registrations after June 19 cannot be guaranteed a swag bag or t-shirt size; all finishers will receive a medal.
