Leiden Marathon
The Leiden Marathon is a multi-day event in Leiden held on 8 and 9 May 2027 that includes running and walking options across several fixed distances. Events take place in and around the city and use start locations in the Koninginnelaan and on the Garenmarkt.

- 21 km half marathon
- 10 km run
- 5 km run
- 2.1 km Corpus Kidsrun
- 42 km, 21 km and 10 km walking routes
The parcours runs from the historic inner city through polder landscapes and past characteristic villages, with the finish located in the heart of Leiden. The event weekend also hosts dedicated team events such as the Heerema Businessloop and a business walking loop, and it will stage the Dutch Student Championships for marathon and half marathon under SSN auspices.
Organisers report a volunteer team of around 1,100 people to support the event.
