About the race

The Leenderbos Trail is a trail running event in the Leenderbossen near Leende (Noord-Brabant, Netherlands) with routes that run from a start location at Manege de Molenberg. The event uses three roughly 9 km loops that can be combined to create distances of 9 km, 18 km and 27 km. The green loop functions as the connector from the central verzorgingspost to the other two loops.

The course runs through a varied natural landscape that includes coniferous forest, heath, ponds and sand dunes, with winding paths and a mix of surfaces. The routes are fully waymarked with arrows and tape, and the organizers note that the Leenderbossen contain relatively few elevation meters.

There is no single mass start; the time on the ticket indicates a start time window to reduce crowding, and a crewmember is present at the start to provide final information. The verzorgingspost is the central aid station; participants may start a new loop from that point until 15:30. Cups are not provided at aid stations, so participants should bring a reusable racecup or purchase one at the event. A finisher medal is available as a separate item. The event is organized by Trail Events and has a maximum physical attendee capacity of 890. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
