Event overview
The Laveen Turkey Trot is the 19th annual running event held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025. The race takes place at the Laveen Area Conveyance Channel, 7780 S 59th Ave., Laveen Village, AZ 85339. 4 Peaks Racing is providing official timing for the event.
Race details
The event includes timed runs and walks plus an untimed fun run. Distances offered:
- 10K Run & Walk
- 5K Run & Walk
- 1-Mile Fun Run (untimed)
Chip timing uses disposable RFID chips. Timing chips are on the reverse side of the race number. Race numbers should be worn the correct way up, pinned to the front of the shirt and worn over the belly button. Time limits apply for each distance: the 10K must be completed within 2 hours 30 minutes, the 5K within 1 hour 30 minutes, and the 1-mile within 1 hour.
