Lausanne Marathon
The Lausanne Marathon is a large-scale running event scheduled for October 25, 2026, in Lausanne, Switzerland. The courses connect Place Milan, the starting point for several distances, with the finish line at Bellerive-Plage. Participants can choose from several distances and disciplines:
- Marathon (42.195 km): Open to individuals aged 18 and over, with a course time limit of 6 hours and 30 minutes.
- Half-Marathon (21.09 km): Open to individuals aged 16 and over, with a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- 10 km Run: Open to individuals aged 14 and over, with a course time limit of 2 hours.
- 10 km Walking: Open to individuals aged 10 and over, with a time limit of 2 hours.
- 10 km Nordic Walking: Open to individuals aged 10 and over, with a time limit of 2 hours.
The registration fee includes a finisher medal and a T-shirt. Participants can also order an optional personalized plate with their name and time to attach to the medal. On-site race services include a Marathon Expo on the Friday and Saturday preceding the race, bib collection, bag storage, warm-ups, and pace makers for the long distances. During the event, refreshment stations are positioned along the marathon, half-marathon, and 10 km routes.
The event partners with the "Léman Hope" association, which supports young people in remission from cancer through sailing activities. Additionally, massages and changing rooms are available for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
