Courage Fund 5k and 1 Mile fundraiser
This event is a run and walk fundraiser held on July 25, 2026 at Pinckney High School, 10255 Dexter-Pinckney Rd, Pinckney, MI 48169. Proceeds assist families served by University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital with needs such as gas, food, utilities, clothing, emergency auto and home repairs, and other basic necessities during medical crises.

Entry pricing for the 5K is $30 through July 12, $35 from July 13 through July 24, and $40 on race day; the 1 mile is $25 through July 12, $30 from July 13 through July 24, and $35 on race day. A family and friends discount of $3 per person applies automatically when three or more people register together for the 5K and is valid through July 12. Registration opens April 1 and virtual registration is available; virtual entries are $30.
T-shirts are guaranteed for entries completed by the end of July 12, with additional shirts available while supplies last. Packet pickup takes place on race day at the Registration/Check-in Tent; packets include event and sponsor information, a race t-shirt, and a bib. The 5K course is on the Pinckney High School complex; the 1 mile event is entirely on the track. Results will be live during the event and posted afterward, with professional timing by the Michigan Running Foundation. Virtual results must be submitted by August 1.
