L'Arche Antigonish 11th Annual Fun Walk & Run
This community event takes place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Columbus Field on Main Street in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The event is an 11th annual 5 km fun walk and run, with the course beginning and ending at Columbus Field and including a lap around the field.
The route follows Main Street to Church Street, crosses at the intersection of Church Street and St. Ninian's, continues along Church Street to Founders Walk, proceeds to the end of Founders Walk, then turns around to return to Columbus Field for the finish.
Entry fees are listed as CA$30 for adults and CA$20 for U16 participants. Online registration closes on September 26, 2026. Registration is also available through the event office using e-transfer, and there is registration available on the day of the event at Columbus Field; accepted payment methods include cash, cheque, and e-transfer. T-shirt orders must be placed by September 9, 2026.
Event-day activities include T-shirt pick up and on site registration, the race itself, and a Kinsmen BBQ. Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win a L'Arche gift basket; cash is recommended for raffle purchases. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
