About the race
The LARC in the Park 5K Run/Walk is a community race at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, NY. It features a 5K Run/Walk and a Kids’ Dewey Decimal Dash for children up to 10. The event promotes a library-focused, family-friendly atmosphere; strollers are welcome and pets are not permitted.
The course takes place within Rockland Lake State Park, accessed via the North Entrance to Parking Lot #1. Proceeds benefit the Library Association of Rockland County Scholarship Fund and professional development for library staff.
