LAPD Foothill Fitness Run
The LAPD Foothill Fitness Run is an annual community race and resource fair held at Hansen Dam Aquatic Center, 11798 Foothill Blvd, Lake View Terrace, CA 91342. The event features multiple distances and a resource fair that promotes youth programs associated with the Foothill Station, including junior cadet and cadet programs, Foothill Jeopardy, and other enrichment programs.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 1K (0.62 miles), a kids fun run/walk
The course is multi surface and includes both cement and trail running. The first 1,000 participants receive a medal and a T-shirt. Western attire is welcome.
Entry fees are specified for the 5K and 1K: 5K Run/Walk Students and Cadets $25, Adults $30; 1K Run/Walk Students and Cadets (17 years and younger) $25, Adults $30. Early packet pick up is scheduled before the event on Friday, August 14, 10:00 to 20:00, and Saturday, August 15, 8:00 to 13:00 at Pacoima City Hall, 13520 Van Nuys Blvd, Pacoima, CA 91331.
