6th Annual Lap The Lake
Lap the Lake is a grassroots gravel and pavement event held at Melvern Lake Marina in Melvern, Kansas. It takes place on October 10, 2026. Routes run along the shoreline and rolling hills and include both gravel and pavement sections.
The event offers a range of cycling, running, and ruck options. Longer courses include rugged gravel and punchy climbs, while shorter routes feature smoother pavement and wide lake views. Some courses pass along prairie trail and through an old railroad tunnel. The event combines competitive and community elements and supports local partnerships and community giving through miles completed.
