Lap the Lake - Melvern (6th Annual)
Lap the Lake is a grassroots gravel and pavement event held at Melvern Lake Marina in Melvern, KS on October 10, 2026. Routes run around the lake shoreline and through rolling hills, combining gravel sections, pavement, and varied climbing terrain.
The program includes multiple bike and run options that range from short shoreline rides to longer gravel courses. Several routes offer wide lake views and open prairie trail sections; some pass through a unique old railroad tunnel. The event also includes a Rucking Challenge with GPS routing, a 4 to 9 mile distance range, and a 10 pound minimum vest requirement.
