Entry and logistics
Registration opens May 16, 2026 and is online only; paper or cash registrations are not accepted. The fun run is free and does not include t-shirts or timing. 5K entry fees are listed as $20 for early registration and $25 after August 1 and on race day, with processing fees applying to online transactions. Unisex shirts are guaranteed for early entries with an August 1 deadline. The race director may provide assistance if financial considerations prevent entry.

The course is described as flat and fast, following paved and dirt roads around Myers Park and Salt Point, and it starts and finishes in Myers Park. Awards include ribbons for every fun run finisher, overall placements for the top three, top winners in age categories (Under 10; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+), and recognition for the youngest 5K finisher.
