Lansdowne Turkey Trot
The Lansdowne Turkey Trot is a community road race held at the Potomac Club at Landsdowne on November 26. The event awards series points that count toward the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the organizer's Fall Series. A virtual run option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
Runners receive race bibs, post-race snacks and drinks, and finisher medals for all kids and then to other runners while supplies last. T-shirts are provided for the first 500 registrants or through 11/07/2026. Top three male and female finishers receive gift card awards of $100, $75, and $50 for first through third place. Registration is listed as coming soon and organizer promo or discount codes for other events cannot be used for this race.
Packet pickup is offered in advance at the Potomac Club in Lansdowne in the days before the event. Race day registration is available at the Potomac Club entrance. A port-a-potty will be available on race day. Live results will be posted on Athlinks with a QR code available at the event; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Photos taken by staff will be posted to the organizer's Facebook page by the Tuesday after the event.
Course directions start and finish at the Potomac Club and follow neighborhood streets around the conference center perimeter, past Riverside High School and the football field, ending back at the Potomac Club.
